Не доказано. Есть данные: снижение обострений и госпитализаций при стабильной COPD.
Суть
Цистеин: предшественник глутатиона; МА по свободному цистеину мало, данные касаются производного NAC (муколитики при COPD, отравление парацетамолом).
Что говорят исследования
Форма важна
Для свободного цистеина выбора формы нет: данных нет.
NAC применять по клиническим показаниям (врач).
В обычных БАД пользы не показано..
Мифы
«Цистеин: то же, что NAC»: связанные, но разные молекулы.
«Полезен всем против окисления»: у здоровых данных нет.
«Работает при COPD»: речь о производном NAC в группе пациентов.
Осторожно
Не смешивать цистеин и NAC как эквиваленты; высокие дозы аминокислот в абстрактах не оценивались; при медицинских состояниях: по врачу.

Мясо, птица, яйца, молочные продукты, бобовые, лук, чеснок, брокколи; в абстрактах рацион не разбирается.
